Is it not possible to stage a selected range in Theia

Question

I'm asking here because I remember being able to do it but now it is not available... I tried right clicking on the selected code and only "unstage selected range" is available (even if nothing is staged) and it doesn't do anything.

Somehow I really remember being able to do it... Is it somewhere where I am not finding it?
