Drop up list?

I am working on developing industrial applications with small touch screens. I need to put some drop down lists near the bottom edge of the screen, but as the name suggests, they can only drop down and users cannot select some of the items because they are beyond the screen. I created some drop up lists by using vertical lists, prompts and pixel map icons. But they are not reusable. I am wondering if we can have a property for the drop list indicating if the pop up list will be popping up or dropping down?

A new property for the drop list widget, so that the pop up list can show above the select button.

A reusable widget for that?

My apologies for the delayed reply.

This sounds like a practical improvement. I am not sure when I'll be able to get to it, but I've included it in our backlog.
