Region code is not marked as mandatory

The region code is not marked as mandatory and the resulting error message is not hinting to that, but rather giving an internal server error.

Current Behavior

1. Region Code is not marked as required but indeed is.
2. Missing out on the region code results in an internal server error message (exception) instead of a more clear notification, hinting that the region code should be set.

Expected Behavior

1. When missing out on the region code, a notification should appear clarifying that a region code is needed.
2. There should be an asterisk (*)

Steps To Reproduce

Fill out the on-boarding form but leave the region code field empty.
