Testing BPN - EDC Configuration in Trace-X questions #1487

I'm currently testing the BPN - EDC configuration feature in Trace-X and I have a few questions to ensure that I'm simulating a realistic data exchange scenario. I'd really appreciate your clarification on the following:
Image

Q1: Do I need to deploy actual EDC Connectors for testing?
should I deploy two separate EDC connectors (e.g., one as a data provider and another as a data consumer) and use their URLs in the BPN-EDC mapping? when I say deploy I mean following these : https://github.com/eclipse-edc/Connector?tab=readme-ov-file

Q2: Can I reuse the same connector URL across use cases?
In my test with Trace-X, can I reuse the same EDC URL across different use cases (e.g., CO2 footprint ...), or should I generate a new connector and URL per use case to reflect real-world usage? e.g https://edc-provider-co2.test.net
and https://edc-provider-tracex.test.net note: that am the same user

Q3:In real Catena-X scenarios, can I use only EDC connectors for Trace-X to work correctly? Or is there also support for other types of connectors such as IDS connectors?

Thanks in advance,
