you need to import "formatDate" from core.

just adjust this import line:
import FullCalendar, { formatDate } from "@fullcalendar/react";

to
import FullCalendar from "@fullcalendar/react";
import { formatDate } from "@fullcalendar/core";

this will fix the issue
