Misleading wording in Testing Randomness

"you don’t know the exact answer up front" is misleading in the sense that there is no exact answer to know. In fact, you know and test the exact invariants of the problem which is precisely what testing is all about. So, in that sense the approach is perfectly in line with everything else. It is just that the exact invariants are inconvenient statistical quantities in this case.

I think the point you make is the point the lesson already tries to convey, just it starts off with a technically inaccurate phrasing and scaffolds the process of guiding the learner to understanding the issue. (See also lies-to-children)

I would rather say "you can't know the return value up front" but this feels like I'm running into the bike shedding trap here. Can I just propose a new wording in case I change something in "Testing Randomness" anyways?
