Thanks a lot for the support! I've had to table this for a while because of other obligations, but there's a bunch of people interested in this and I found some extra time so we're back at it again!
I'll do some work over the next two days to clean things up for a new release, and I'll also add support for the G920.
The release is planned for this weekend, you can keep an eye on the releases page, but I'll also reach out here once it's out.

Since I only have the G923, it will definitely be helpful to have someone confirm it works on other wheels, thanks a lot for volunteering!

Just wanted to let you know that fffb v0.1.0 is out.
I put in a workaround to let it accept any Logitech wheel, so the G920 should work now.
However, I'd like to get rid of this workaround, and I'll need the exact device id of the G920 to do that.
Once you test the plugin, please paste the full log file below, you can find the log file at /tmp/fffb.log.

Hope the plugin works on your end, let me know how the testing goes, and feel free to drop any other suggestions for improvements below!

One question: ¿Is any other software needed to run it? Because I've never got my Mac to work with the wheel (as the drivers seem to be only for x86 architecture)

nope, no extra software needed. All you need is a mac with ETS2 or ATS installed. Then simply move the libfffb.dylib file to the plugins directory next to the game's executable (by default /Users/<your username>/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/<game>/<game>.app/Contents/MacOS/plugins where <game> can be American Truck Simulator or Euro Truck Simulator 2).

The plugin is targeting x86_64 because ETS2/ATS isn't compiled for aarch64 either, and the plugin needs to be compiled for the same architecture as the game. Both end up running through Rosetta.

If you're not getting the SDK popup after launching the game, the plugin is not in the correct location. If you are getting the popup, but the wheel doesn't start turning after hitting OK, please attach the log file located at /tmp/fffb.log
Also, make sure you're using the latest version available, currently that's v0.1.2

Can you confirm if the RPM LEDs work?
From what I could find, it seems that the G920 does not support the classic ffb protocol, I'll have to implement the HID++ protocol as well to get that wheel working. I'll try to find some time to implement basic support for that protocol, I'll let you know when it's ready to test 😄

This model has no RPM LEDs, but what feels different from earlier is that the force feedback is in full blocking, (earlier it was completely loose). I can't think of any other detail that might help you

that's interesting, the autocentering spring should be on by default when you plug the wheel in. the plugin disables all forces after calibration upon launching the game, so I would expect the behavior to be opposite: you plug the wheel in, there's autocentering, you launch the game, it does a quick calibration and then the wheel can freely move without any forces until you actually get inside the game.

again, if my research is correct, the G920 should only support the hid++ protocol, and since the plugin tries communicating with the wheel via the classic protocol, theoretically no changes should happen to the wheel (unless the commands fffb sends somehow get interpreted as hid++ commands which do something to the wheel)

i'm very sorry to disappoint @rafacampoamor :/ but I think the only way I'll get the G920 to work is by implementing the hid++ protocol. thankfully my G923 also supports that protocol, so I'll be able to test it on my end as well. unfortunately, the protocols are different enough that it will take me at least a few days to implement, I'll try to find some time on Friday/Saturday to put something together, at least a PoC build I can send you to figure out if I'm on the right track
