[Feature Request] - Compatibility Android Auto #71

Will this version be available on Android Auto? I read that CappielloAntonio's version was, but I admit I downloaded that version directly. So it's possible it is, but it doesn't appear on my Android Auto. Thank you for your work :-D |

Hi @georgeschris01 This version includes everything that CappielloAntonio - it builds on top of it. What version are you on? The last version on from the old repo was 3.9.0 - The releases here start at 3.10.0 and I just released 3.13.0 yesterday. Android auto has not been removed and should work. Admittedly, I don't have/use that feature and am working to figure out how to get the emulator working on my laptop to test. |

Hello, I installed the latest version and I still don't have Tempo on Android Auto. I have Google Android Auto version 14.7.652684. I'm in no rush, take your time ;-) |

Hi @georgeschris01 Can you verify the version number of Tempo in the Settings? Scroll to the bottom. Also, where did you install from? With my fork I am only distributing releases from github releases. |

Hi @Londoneye02 , This feature was working before I forked it, and as far as I know, no code has been removed regarding this feature. So if it's broken then I must have done something at the first fork. |

You have to enable Android Auto developer options, which are different from actual Android dev options. Then you have to enable "Unknown sources" in Android Auto, otherwise the app won't appear as it isn't downloaded from Play Store. |

@Londoneye02 I haven't yet tested it but I believe we can create a Should be quick to test on a branch, adding some screenshots and stuff would be nice for new users as well. Android auto is particularly difficult for me since I don't have that product and not certain I can create/generate a emulator to test/dev/screenshot on it. So any help there is appreciated. |
