Empty bufferes in view_diff on MS-Windows when viewing diffs

Hi,

eca-emacs displays empty buffers when viewing diffs on MS-Windows.

To reproduce, on windows:

1. Run M-x eca and connect to your desired model.
2. In the chat buffer, ask the model to add content "abc" to a local file..
3. After the model responds,. click on view_diff; an Ediff session opens, but the comparison buffers are empty.

@ikappaki are you using default eca diff (smerge) in eca-chat-diff-tool variable? or ediff?

Is it a windows specific issue?

Hi @ericdallo, it's a windows specific issue that has to do with line endings, I'm using the defaults settings, and it calls down to eca-diff-show-ediff.
