VSCode doesn't pick up changes to editorconfig

I'm seeing what seems to be a dupe of #214

I update csharp_prefer_braces = true:silent, but VSCode doesn't remove or add the squigglies.

Visual Studio does though.

I'm editing the editorconfig in Git Bash on Windows.

After making change and saving file, I see this in output:

Test.cs: Using EditorConfig core...

Can work around by restarting the Extension Host
