Blender will install the addon, but does not show up in the "Enable/disable addon" section

When I install the addon using the addon installer, Blender says the files are successfuly installed, and it shows up in the addon folder, however, I do not see the addon showing up in the enable/disable addon section, thus making me unable to use the addon.
