Total network luquidity meaning

I was checking https://eigenwallet.org/statistics.html and have a question.

Is the graph for total liquidity plotting (total xmr available for BTC(with price in BTC))+(total BTC available for XMR)? Perhaps it would be good to offer a toggle to XMR and/or show liquidity on both sides of the pair?

Liquidity is one-sided as the maker always has to be the one selling the Monero.

Why is it the total liquidity in BTC rather than XMR ? - perhaps I have the wrong definition in my head, but I thought the graph would represent total available stock of XMR for sale?

Is it correct to say that the total monero available to buy (available liquidity) went down a lot today?

"Why is it the total liquidity in BTC rather than XMR": No particular reason. It was just easier to implement as the maximum and minimum offer sizes are priced in Bitcoin. It is easier that way.

"Is it correct to say that the total monero available to buy (available liquidity) went down a lot today?": Yes a few makers went offline and there's also a lot of taker demand which results in liquidity being bought up fairly quickly.
