Does this repository have a development plan?

I want to use iceoryx2 in the ros2 environment, but this library hasn't been updated for a long time. Are there any current development plans?

Thanks for reaching out. We would truly like to get rmw_iceoryx2 feature-complete by finishing off the open items described in the README.

Lately however, we have had little capacity to focus efforts here due to funded development work in the main iceoryx2 repository taking precedence.

If you have the capacity to contribute and help finish off the open items, I would be happy to assist - this would probably be the quickest way to get it done without funding.
If someone is able to fund this work though, we will be able to prioritize it higher and get it done ourselves much earlier.

Is there a particular feature that is lacking that you need for your use-case?

EDIT: I would also like to add that if you're able to use the existing feature set (publish-subscribe only) for your use-case but encounter bugs, we'll absolutely help resolve those - we're not going to leave the project unmaintained :)
