segmentation by session id/ip or anything that can identify the affected user

i came from dynatrace or datadog and tried this end user monitoring and i could not find which user is experiancing issues and so on, those tool has session segmentation and even mapping of userid tag to session , this would also help in finding user journey

Hi @serak

To know which transactions or errors belong to a user you can make use if the setUserContext API. This is a configuration similar to what DataDog offers to identify users.

To be able to segment by session you can leverage addLabels API to set a session identifier (provided by your app) to all transactions and errors. Check the docs since you can have issues if you add too many fields using this API.
