Clicking a link on a page does not refocus ToC

Describe the bug

When you click on a link in a page, similar to the link below from https://bookish-dollop-9p66716.pages.github.io/full-text-filter-tutorial.html. The new page you are viewing is shown and is highlighted in the ToC but the ToC stays in the place it was prior to clicking the link.

Expected behavior

I would expect the new page that is selected to be in focus in the ToC

Steps to reproduce

Click a link, notice the ToC doesn't move.
