Missing information on Add Docker metadata

Can you please point me to where the actual metadata values are documented or please add the metadata values that are accessible when using "Add docker metadata" feature?

Trial and error is incredibly time consuming and clear documentation is extremely valuable for feature adoption.

I specifically am trying to figure out how to add a dynamic field whose name is determined by the docker compose service name or the docker swarm service name as our services run on both compose and swarm.
