[Problem]: Errors to ES API Doc Examples

👋 howdy team,

We linked high-support-volume Elasticsearch errors to correlating docs. For example, Allocation Explain errors in code (via sub code-to-docs list) link to specific old-docs examples.

👻 However what migration/change broke:

1. the new docs do not even contain these previous examples (on sister page nor anywhere else)

2. the redirect from example old just generically to top of new due to the suffixing #any-content-here

IMO the action items will be version-specific. For example:

1. Actively updated V9 versions:
   1. Determine the appropriate home for the API examples that weren't migrated (in particular the ones referenced from the errors messages and logs). Add that missing information and if it's not housed in the API reference, link to it from the API reference.
   2. If changes are required to the links used in the products, confirm whether we can update them. Previous updates for reference: [DOCS] Update links for new docs URLs that are hardcoded and emitted by Elasticsearch elasticsearch#124040
   3. Make it easier to get from "current" API reference to previous versions as an escape hatch. Relates to Add mapping to old docs elasticsearch-specification#4369
2. Actively updated V8 versions:
   1. Check whether the logs are linking to “current” or directly to appropriate version of old docs. If the former, confirm whether we ought to link directly to appropriate version instead.
3. No longer actively updated versions:
   1. Check whether there are log or messages linking to “current” and (since we can’t make changes there anymore), see escape hatch route in 1.3 above.
