For the moment feel free to use https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/starting-with-the-elasticsearch-platform-and-its-solutions/8.18/new.html as a valid destination of that link for older release notes.

I'll clarify why the 8.x link is not working before applying a fix in the main page.
