guidance for installing 9.0 stack versions

sometimes someone might need to reinstall 9.0 or install 9.0 on another node. we need to do something to help people to understand how to update our install snippets to install previous versions, e.g. a note saying "to install previous versions, replace {{versions.stack}} with your desired version.
