Probably on your radar already, but while revising what contrib guidelines we have I noticed that this page still suggests creating docs in Asciidoc: https://www.elastic.co/docs/extend/kibana/development-documentation

FYI the Rest API section links to asciidoc templates too

I don't think this page has anything really Kibana-specific at this point and could just point to the existing contribution guidelines, or even be removed/redirected

Yes I'll hold the PR until we get our public docs contribution guidelines out.

Yeah I noticed this existed, I thought it was just about API docs but just saw the parent page. I'll do that.
