Maintain an official integration for Django #3311
Description
There are several community projects that integrate Elasticsearch with Django. Among them:
- django-elasticsearch-dsl Last released in July 2025
- django-elasticsearch Last released in April 2020
- django-elasticsearch-dsl-drf Last released in July 2022
All of these receive minimal maintenance, and only the first has been updated to work with release 9.
Given the size of the Django community, we should evaluate offering an official integration.
