Causing a downstream library dependency
issue. Remove at least until downstream
has time to address.
This is causing a downstream issue for a Logstash integration. Not sure how it works exactly, but it sounds like the plugin does not include the logging library as a dependency, so adding the logger in our code breaks the plugin. There is active Logstash work in progress to address this.
I added the inactive logger simply as a preference, not as a necessity, so there's no issue removing it.
