Running the mcp with http in VS Code

Hi, I deployed the mcp on a remote location, and I was trying to use it in VS Code. The problem I have is that on every call I'm prompted that "The authorization server <my_remote_mcp_url> does not support automatic client registration. Do you want to proceed by manually providing a client registration? ... etc:

Is this expected? I did not find any way for VS Code to stop trying to register a client.
