How does pglite benchmark against sqlite on node?

In your benchmarks, I see you've benchmarked pglite against wa-sqlite, but I was more interested in using pglite as a sqlite replacement.

Basically, how much of a performance difference is there between pglite vs. sqlite running on Node? A comparison using popular sqlite libraries and also against Bun's sqlite would be very interesting.

The main reason for choosing PGlite over sqlite would be features, extensions etc, not speed.

Nevertheless, I agree that having at least an idea of how much slower your app would theoretically be if switching would be good.

For my use case, I'm using drizzle ORM. Switching to pglite is as easy as creating db with pglite client and I can still use the same code for postgres and pglite with the ORM.

But the main issue I'm having is, if the performance between pglite and sqlite is NOT comparable, then I'll have to consider making a sqlite lite db for local use. I need to know how comparable pglite is to sqlite for local db applications.
