Element Call 0.17 brakes calls #3806

Steps to reproduce
Try to start the call - it won't work.
Outcome
All of the details are element-hq/element-x-ios#5217, including an AI assisted analysis of the logs and possible solution.
I know 'AI' is a bad word, but I confirm that the issue happens the next hour the Element X was updated on 26.03.3, that uses Element Call 0.17. I also understand that Element Call 0.17 is a significant rewriting of since Element Call 0.16.
Since EC is wired into Element-X and no option to change that from the server side, that is quite an issue.
