Browse timeline by date

Hello,

I have been using Matrix for several years, and my server keeps everything. So, theoretically, I still have discussions from 2021 for example. Now, if I wish to show the discussions from, say, August 2021, I don't think I have much choices besides scrolling for hours and hours, or searching for a specific term if I happen to remember what was talked about.
So, it would be great to have a way to sort the messages by dates (i.e. go back to a specific date in the timeline), to actually benefit from the server keeping everything.

The ideal solution for me would be to add a panel, perhaps near the search panel, which would allow choosing a date from a calendar pane, and go back in the timeline to the specific date.
