will reset password send an email to an unlinked email address?

Hello!

I was wondering if, when I have unlinked my email (that I am pretty sure I did before, though I cannot find the option anymore) if I set a reset password request will that go to the originally used email address?
in https://account.matrix.org/account/ the email address seems to still be shown, so I am wondering what gets saved and or updated in regards to the email addresses in general.
