Terminal has no window name by default

What Happened?

By default, Terminal opens with no label in the decoration nor in the multitasking view

it picks up current working dir only once a new tab has been created

Steps to Reproduce

open latest version of terminal
look at decoration
look at name in multitasking
open new tab
observe change

Expected Behavior

by default, it is current working dir

There is a default title applied in the code but it is not appearing for some reason - investigating.

I can no longer reproduce this on the latest release of elementary 8.

I dont know. I havent done any modification to terminal, never removed or reinstalled it.
It is stock, and just the same as when i installed eOS

only settings changed are the
Remember Tab is off in Tweaks
Color palette to the second dark variant,
and unsafe paste is off

@teamcons Still could not reproduce on OS7.1 or OS8 even after purging and reinstalling with apt to make sure I was running the released version. I do not have Tweaks but I disabled remembering tabs using the System Settings/Security & Privacy (the recommended way).

On starting Terminal invariably opened with a single tab (correctly labelled "Home" when started from Applications) and with the current path in the headerbar. In MultiTasking View the tooltip was correctly echoing the header.

I could try uninstalling terminal, purging all i can find, reinstalling it anew

I see this problem both in multitasking mode and when switching windows using alt+tab.
