This is clearly a bug. In my system far2l after macro recording give Altü instead of Alt= or Ctrlü instead of Ctrl= also 😢

Alt+Home generates AltNumpad7

This is feature. Far distinguishes usual arrow keys and keys from NumPad (which can be toggled to digits). For such keys I usually in ~/.config/far2l/settings/key_macros.ini write 2 identical macros for both keys, for your example:

• AltHome (to process the regular Home)
• AltNumpad7 (to process the NumPad Home/7)

Many laptop keyboards has arrows NumPad keys only.

NumPad key has names NumDel, Numpad0 for Ins, Numpad1 for End, ... Numpad9 for PgUp, Multiply, Add, etc.

Even weirder. Recording a macro and assigning it to a key in the editor, preview, and shell generates alt+umlaut.

After saving, it doesn't work anywhere.

When I changed the key name in the key_macros.ini file to alt=, it worked in the shell; the editor and preview didn't respond to the change.
