Plugin onError in addition to route group onError

Is it not supported to have plugins write their own onError handler and only handle errors it knows about, with unhandled ones bubbling up? For example, i have a workerPlugin that handles SignatureValiationError. If that error is not thrown, I do nothing else in that onError handler. Then on the actual route itself, i have a RouteRuntimeError being handled and by default handles it with a 500 response. Finally, on the app itself, I have a .onError(console.error). For some reason, only the app-level onError is executing, bypassing my route onError
