Is there a feature to use Github Copilot CLI SDK readily with Embabel?

Please be more specific. However, this would seem to be a non-goal for Embabel.

From the documentation:

The GitHub Copilot SDK exposes the same engine behind Copilot CLI: a production-tested agent runtime you can invoke programmatically. No need to build your own orchestration—you define agent behavior, Copilot handles planning, tool invocation, file edits, and more.

Embabel is a complete framework for building orchestration on the JVM, with a deterministic approach to planning, highly sophisticated tool calling mechanisms, support for nested agent processes and deep integration with existing JVM applications and domain models. It is designed to orchestration sophisticated workflows, not act as a shim for another framework that is less deterministic and lacks those integrations.

If you want to do this, Spring AI Agents might be the best bet.

Thanks @johnsonr . The idea behind is to have any source that brings the intelligence capability (here GitHub Copilot). Like how Embabel supports & needs OpenAI, Anthropic, etc for LLM intelligence to complete the goal, can the same not be provided via GitHub Copilot?

Embabel uses LLMs and tools directly, while coordinating the execution flow itself. We aim to do as much as possible deterministically rather than relying on the an LLM. Embabel's philosophy is to enable the use of LLMs in as predictable a manner as possible.

Relying on something that is largely unstructured and nondeterministic like Copilot is quite different.
