I am using the plugin to update a version number in source code. Everytime the file is save, even with no changes to the file, the plugin runs and bumps the version.

Describe the solution you'd like
It may be advantaegous to avoid running the plugin when the matched file has not changed. This could be enabled with an configuration option in settings.

Additional context
I suppose this may require a hook or signal from vscode to indicate whether the file is changed or for the trigger to be based on that condition. I am not sufficiently familiar with vscode extensions to know whether such a hook / trigger exists.
