Custom resolution without .dll injection

Is it possible to set custom resolution without .dll injection? I mean not 0.99x, 0.95x and so on, but for example 1918x1078. Some games don't work in 1.00x mode, and 0.99x gives worse results than setting the resolution manually

You used to be able to set a custom multiplier with NVPI, but latest drivers have blacklisted the setting for that now.

Did you try forcing DLAA quality level with NVPI? It looked like that was trying to set something like 0.999x for it, but maybe that code was only used for certain games.

Mode 0.999x is reset to N/A
