Unable to create new workspace on Geoserver

Hello,

I have been unable to create a new workspace on geoserver. Once I have typed in my **name** and **namespace uri**  and save, everything just wipes off without giving any error. 

Although I have created a new workspace before on my old system, but on this new system I started all my registrations afresh.
