New RMT driver not compiling

Bug description

Since the new RMT driver commit [https://github.com/esp-rs/esp-idf-hal/commit/782df6ea9541a6aa897e291e4f04a90ea63db9c4] compilation fails with a 'use of unresolved module or unlinked crate' error in some environments.

The code below in
#[cfg(esp_idf_version_at_least_5_3_0)] flags: rmt_receive_config_t_extra_rmt_receive_flags { _bitfield_1: rmt_receive_config_t_extra_rmt_receive_flags::new_bitfield_1( config.enable_partial_rx as u32, ), ..Default::default() }, ,

produces the error

failed to resolve: use of unresolved module or unlinked crate rmt_receive_config_t_extra_rmt_receive_flags
if you wanted to use a crate named rmt_receive_config_t_extra_rmt_receive_flags, use cargo add rmt_receive_config_t_extra_rmt_receive_flags to add it to your Cargo.toml

To Reproduce

This issue is reproducible with a project targeting an ESP32 using ESP-IDF version 5.3 with the following esp-idf related crates

esp-idf-svc = { git = "https://github.com/esp-rs/esp-idf-svc.git", rev = "de032e3621" }
esp-idf-sys = { git = "https://github.com/esp-rs/esp-idf-sys.git", rev = "a97dd46f4b"}
esp-idf-hal = { git = "https://github.com/esp-rs/esp-idf-hal.git", rev = "15e197e2e6" }

changing the esp-idf-hal version to

esp-idf-hal = { git = "https://github.com/esp-rs/esp-idf-hal.git", rev = "552b00b557" }

remedies the error and the project builds

This issue is reproducible with a project targeting an ESP32 using ESP-IDF version 5.3

Are you using the release/5.3 branch (you should not) or a v5.3.x release tag?

ESP-IDF does NOT keep binary compatibility even across patch releases so we have to potentially update our code for every ESP-IDF patch release.

The problem is further exacerbated by the fact that the code in the release/X.Y branches is identifying itself as an already released (tagged) version, so there is no way for us to reliably support the release/X.Y branches as there is no way in code to "ifdef" by the branch version, as it is not unique.

Thank you @ivmarkov for your reply, I am using ESP-IDF version v5.3 release tag (git clone -b v5.3 --depth 1 https://github.com/espressif/esp-idf.git)

Using any version of esp-idf-hal after the new RMT driver in this commit results in the error use of unresolved module or unlinked crate rmt_receive_config_t_extra_rmt_receive_flags

Further to the report above, changing to ESP-IDF version v5.5 compiles fine with the latest esp-idf-hal commit (15e197e)

It looks like I didn't look closely enough while looking for changes.

In 5.3.0 this is called extra_flags
