debug error execve failed: Exec format error when debugging esp32-c6-devkitm1-1

Hi, this might not be typically related to espflash, as this happens also with probe-rs, but hopefully someone can help me out

I am using Linux mint..

1.) installed according to https://docs.espressif.com/projects/rust/book/getting-started/index.html
2.) esp-generate with espflash (C6, only the two recomended options for espflash and ZED integration, because that's my code editor )

doing a cargo run --release (with the devkit plugged in via USB or UART it does not matter) is working nicely

when starting the debugger in ZED from fn Main

file esptest3_espflash gives a

esptest3_espflash: ELF 32-bit LSB executable, UCB RISC-V, RVC, soft-float ABI, version 1 (GNU/Linux), statically linked, with debug_info, not stripped

so this could be because of a wrong platform ???

or has it to do with my shebang somehow messed up ?

permissions of esptest3_espflash in debug folder:
-rwxrwxr-x
