Hello. I've been following this firmware for a little while and the developers are doing a fantastic job adding features and improving functionality of this little gadget. I had a couple more ideas that I would love to see implemented, if they are feasible.
Radio controls via web console interface. Tuning, seeking, volume control, add/remove station memory, view RDS info, direct frequency input, adjust bandwidth, modify settings, etc. All essential radio control functions accessible in the web console.
To expand on the first idea, an interactive station memory editor would be a nice addition. Right now I believe the station memory is view-only in the console.
Also from the web console - Some ability to scan and tag found stations (FM radio for example, scan for strong signals and possibly even retrieve station metadata using either RDS data (if available) or location services & sites like Radio-Locator.com or Radio Reference Database - then allow user to save each found station to memory if they choose.)
I understand that the ESP32 is a relatively limited device and so some of these might be beyond the scope of its capabilities for one reason or another - but thank you for hearing my ideas! And keep up the great work!
