Unlikely to happen and harder to navigate (need additional click)
This worked since the beginning. The receiver remembers the last frequency and mode for each band.
Does it look like this one? #117 (video https://t.me/talkradio/174172/201524) Have no idea what causes it, but eventually will figure out.
The volume has to be there for new users who do not know about the shortcut yet. I'll try the other suggestions to see whether they are convenient. |

That's true, but maybe faster than scrolling true the bunch of Bands with delay while switching to SSB and back
That's not what I mean. Imagine the situation. You're listening to 6070 on 49m. Then "click" (band), "click" (ARB), and the last AR band you used is already under the cursor. Then you listen to the radio operators for a while, but then you want to go back to commercial. So "click" (band), "click" (COM). And here, the previous band should also be under the cursor, in this example, the 49m band. EDIT: Another way might be to expand the menu item "BAND" into two or three menu items, for example AR-BD and CO-BD
Nope. I create a AV from it. Hard to explain if you're not a native speaker. |

Is it similar to the VFO A/B feature on a transceiver? |

A new error just popped up. After I made the first video, I left the radio lying around. After a while, it starts acting up, switching to AM, acting up, and then switching back to SSB. Effect in this video: |

I have one more suggestion, a small, unpleasant issue, and a question. But first, the suggestion:
Would it be possible to add two or three submenus to the "Band" menu? I'm thinking of the following:
It would also be helpful to remember which band was last active in which range. So if I switch from the 49m commercial band to the 20m AR and back again, I should end up exactly where I was before on the 49m band.
Regarding the unpleasant issue:
I've noticed that when scrolling through any band, after a short time, anything somehow starts to hiccup. It doesn't seem to be the AGC, as this also happens when the AGC is turned off. This manifests itself in the noise level briefly becoming significantly quieter, then immediately becoming very loud, and then gently dropping back to the previous level. I'm also happy to make an audio recording if you don't understand my explanation.
One final question:
After playing with the radio every day, I find the menu order a bit impractical. In my opinion, it would be better to arrange the corresponding menu items "Bandwidth," "Step Size," and "Squelch" around the "Band Selection" menu item, so you don't have to scroll through the menu for so long. The "Volume" item is actually superfluous, since I can access it with a long click.
OT:

Even though I have a huge box full of various knobs, I couldn't find one that would fit the radio. So I designed and printed one myself. If anyone needs the print file, just let me know.
