Hi Paolo! SSB mode in Si4732 uses a special microcode patch made by the chip vendor (proprietary, no source code is available) that doesn't support hardware seek. The library we use in the firmware also has a corresponding note https://pu2clr.github.io/SI4735/extras/apidoc/html/group__group08.html#ga38f7c7610e05fc67bef6fbb4791e1728
I changed the user manual to make this fact more obvious. For now the Seek function just uses a larger tuning step. |

From tests conducted by several of our OM friends using the radio with the firmware in question, it was noted that in SSB mode (e.g., 10,000 kHz).
In SSB mode, the Seek function activates, but the frequency is not scanned in both directions, even when the squelch level is set to cut off reception. In other modes, it works properly.
Is this a bug, or is there a correct procedure for using Seek in SSB?
Thanks in advance,
