Sorry, but I'd prefer to leave the S-meter unchanged for now. |

Hi! I really like the S-Meter layout but often want to see the RDS texts so I switch to the Default layout so I have both RDS text and S-Meter in the top left. I wasn't aware that in the Default layout the stereo indicator is a strike-through the S-Meter in the top left (always read the docs! 😅) so I though that that meter was showing both S and S/N...

First idea: align stereo indicator between layouts
Not sure if I was the only person confused, but using the more universal stereo indicator (already used in S-Meter layout) also in the Default layout could avoid some confusion regarding that strike-through in the S-Meter. The space next to the FM mode indicator isn't already used and both layouts would be the same.

Second idea: dual S and S/N meter in Default layout
If the S-Meter is freed up from its task of indicating stereo then the "tall" vertical bars could be split into two lines of bars showing each S and S/M scales. Perhaps a little 's' or 'n' could precede the bar to disambiguate them.

PRs?
I messed around in the firmware sources to produce the above screenshots so I have a branch that contains the functional changes described. If any of the two ideas (or better alternatives here discussed) are interesting to the maintainers I could clean it up and submit PRs. Here is an idea of the changes.
