AVC as default for encoder?

I am currently using version 2.30, which is the best version to day in my opinion, but for my application I would prefer the AVC setting to be the default setting of the encoder rather than the frequency change.

Could someone explain me how I can change this in the code? Or would someone be willing to modify the code?

For your information, I have a basic knowledge of Arduino.
