I'm working on something like this in my fork of this repo, if you put up a list of stations I'm sure we could all be able to do something like this. |

Check out the latest main branch. It has some helpers implemented by @luarvique to add names to arbitrary frequencies. These are used to show FT8 frequencies for example |

In my opinion, this is practically impossible, apart from a few fixed frequencies and beacons (DCF, FT8, etc.), since many stations share a frequency, either intentionally or because, for example, the Chinese don't give a damn that a station is already operating on that frequency somwhere. It is possible, but not in a way implemented by the original poster to this thread. There is work planned to integrate with EIBI online schedule. |

Hi, I just got a little bit crazy idea. Remember those old radios with beautiful huge glass front panels full of station names?

If we got the table with freqs and names, it could be possible to display a station name in RDS area if the tuned freq is within let's say 3kHz range from station freq. Fo me it would be a somehow amazing feature in such a small radio.
