strobe is the effect you are looking for.

No, this is NOT randomly flickering.

None of those effects you mentioned have random times and that's the only random part you can have with a binary light. pulse isn't random and can be done with strobe. The others only randomly change color or brightness which is not possible for a binary light. If you want random times, use a lambda effect and count a random number of update intervals before changing the state.
