how to get Context Menu ?

in a "normal" Eclipse we have a Context Menu which includes a "search" ...

so you click anything, right click, Search.

this is gone in Espressif IDE.

how to get this Back ?

The Search option was removed from the context menu in the LSP CDT editor because it became overcrowded with too many options. However, you can still access the Search functionality from the main menu or use shortcuts like Ctrl + H for search and Ctrl + Alt + Shift + L for quick search.

Would having Search in the context menu improve the user experience? If so, our team could contribute to LSP CDT and propose adding this option: https://github.com/eclipse-cdt/cdt-lsp

I forgot that the Ctrl + H shortcut requires an indexer, which is turned off for the LSP editor. However, a quick search should still work. Another useful shortcut for searching text in the workspace is Ctrl + Alt + G, while Ctrl + F allows you to find text within the currently open file.

ah, Indexer can be turned on manually ?

BTW: the Indexer was a headace. It sometimes needed Minutes to complete.

Yes, the indexer (required by the default C/C++ editor) can still be enabled via preferences. However, since version 3.0.0, we have turned it off by default for Espressif IDE, as we switched to using the LSP editor, which doesn’t require the indexer and instead uses the LSP server.
