Posted at 2023-12-20 by rigrigrig I'm not sure, but if it did change, it might have something to do with this Gadgetbridge commit? Posted at 2024-01-02 by @gfwilliams I guess maybe it never worked? It seems the SMS messages are handled in a separate way to notifications by Gadgetbridge, so it wouldn't surprise me. That commit was in response to an issue @houshou_m reported where I think SMS messages never triggered an icon to be displayed in the widget bar, and nobody noticed that for years. Maybe I'm misremembering, but I swear the messaging app used to show the sender's name for texts. I don't see that anymore. Has it always been like this? I have the privacy mode set for both calls and messages to display everything, and I'm using Bangle.js Gadgetbridge nightly version 0.77.0-banglejs-275deb4d0, commit 275deb4d0.
