Is there a good documentation how to shard and reshard Etherpad?

I am looking for a way to run Etherpad at scale.

That means users should be able to access different pads based on a sharding pattern.

Also, it should be possible to extend the scaling in case there is more load/pads/users coming to my service.

Do you have a good documentation for it?
