Compatibility & Feature support matrix for Optimism components

Description

It is currently challenging to verify version compatibility between Optimism components and determine which features are supported in each version. Given the frequent updates and evolving feature set, maintaining a clear reference for compatibility could significantly improve the developer experience.

Expected Behavior

A compatibility matrix (or documentation section) that:

• Lists key Optimism components (e.g., op-geth, op-node, op-batcher, op-proposer, op-stack)
• Displays supported versions and their compatibility with one another
• Clearly indicates which features are available in each version

Use Case

For example, while configuring a custom gas token on an Alt-DA mode deployment, verifying whether a specific release supports useCustomGasToken can be difficult. A version matrix would help developers quickly determine:

• Which versions are required to enable a feature
• Whether their current setup is compatible
• If any version mismatches could be causing unexpected behaviour
