Hi all, I will try to attend the call this Monday.

I received feedback from the app layer (thanks @SanLeo461) that timestamps on logs is extremely helpful: ethereum/execution-apis#639

This might be too forward, because I think we are also trying to "define the process" on how to standardize the RPC and how to move forward with proposals, but at least want it noted here that above PR is super helpful :)

I honestly just want to be there to provide reasons why I think that @wighawag's getTimestamp proposal is important to get into the node software. Is it still necessary to convince anyone of that or is it more of an organizational challenge to get this done? I listened to the last call's recording and it seems further progress on the RPC standards is blocked more by organizational challenges within Ethereum governance?

You are reading the room correctly @TimDaub :) We're still getting better organized - personally, the timestamp addition seems non-controversial to me but I think very few devs have reviewed it so far.
