What was wrong?

Please include information like:
while do python3 -m solc.install v0.4.25
Unsupported macOS version.
We only support Mavericks, Yosemite, El Capitan, Sierra and High Sierra.

Got same issue, can't install solc 0.4.20 on Mojave. Will the support be added?

OSX has issues building 0.4.x versions of Solidity, the problem isn't specific to py-solc. You can use brew to install some of the more recent 0.4 versions, see ethereum/homebrew-ethereum for more info.

Got the same problem... Can't install solc 0.4.24 on Mojave

$ ./scripts/install_deps.sh
Unsupported macOS version.

What's worse, the solution @iamdefinitelyahuman provided above( https://github.com/ethereum/homebrew-ethereum) :

$ brew install solidity@4

NOT worked for me, I still encountered some errors(but it's 97%, which was much higher than 10% when I directly build from solidity_0.4.24.tar):

Hi, same problem occurred here. Unable to install using brew , npm, or py-solc using macOS Mojave
