This refers to the homestead hard-fork. The EIP can be found at EIP-2.

Changes

Fees below has changed, compared with 3/FEE.

  • The gas cost for creating contracts via a transaction is increased from 21000 to 53000. The value G_txcreate is used to document the increase.

Gas Cost

As the fee constants have been determinted, this RFC should also specify the gas cost algorithms to be executed. The currently should refer to the EIP-150 revision of the yellow paper.
